The SYNCHROLINE is an excellent choice for flexographic printing on pressure sensitive labels, shrink sleeves, along with laminate and board materials where quality and versatility are a must. With over 250 SYNCHROLINE presses in 45 countries, this fully modular press has truly been a world wide success
One of the major requests printers have today is for a reliable solution for printing on substrates with elastic characteristics often utilized to meet the needs of the packaging industry. Holding accurate register on these substrates is well known problem to flexographic printers. To solve this register concern, Lombardi has introduced electrical shaft technology on the SYNCHROLINE.
SYNCHROLINE is equipped with printing groups governed singularly by brushless motors. Settings and maintenance of the printing register for the entire press is accomplished electronically with a sophisticated system of register controls. This system enables corrections in real time compensating for the deviations in register due to expansion or contraction of the material. Amazingly, the SYNCHROLINE requires only 10 feet of material to find pre-register. The SYNCHROLINE is a natural fit for printers looking for maximum versatility and the possibility of working on a wide variety of materials. Some of the main features of the press are:
HI-FIT SYSTEM – an innovative system that is used for print rolls allowing for the immediate fitting of different diameters with no need for an adapter. This system enables constant printing pressure with varying roll diameters. HI-FX SYSTEM – The plate cylinder is pneumatically clamped with a conical piston that prevents reversibility of motion keeping vibrations at the print to a minimum. HI-DYNAMIX SYSTEM – The doctor blade is pressured against the anilox roller with a pneumatic system, determining an auto-adaptive pressure dynamic, resulting in ideal ink distribution. HI-INX SYSTEM: When the machine stops, the ink roller, (the anilox), is first removed, followed after an adjustable period of time by the print cylinder. This system enables the plate to be cleaned of excess ink automatically. Our innovative technology enables materials that range from 12 microns al the way to 500 microns to pass through the press.
